Dr. Harve & Letty Nagata Meskin, M.A. are licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who have provided services to injured workers, personal injury and general issues related to mental health, in the San Diego region, for over 30 years. They also have additional associates who are licensed clinical psychologists and marriage and family therapists in the San Diego area: Michael Samko, Ph.D., Dolores Rodriguez-Reimann, PsyD. (bilingual Spanish),  Elia Jimenez, Ph.D., Joachim Reimann, Ph.D.,  Erika Garcia, M.A., (bilingual Spanish), Claudia Franzosi, LMFT (bilingual Spanish, Italian), Katherine Crusey.  Most of our therapists have been licensed for 10 years or more.

Their services include behavioral pain management and occupational medicine, as well as working with issues related to depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety and other difficulties related to being on Workers’ Compensation disability. They have many years of experience in therapeutics and have worked extensively with injured workers, personal injuries, and other people who suffer from chronic pain, addictive disorders and psychological problems.

The scope of our practice includes but is not limited to the following specialty areas:

·         Psychotherapeutic evaluation and treatment

·         Psychiatric medication management (we have a network of MD's, who are     
           knowledgeable in this specialty)
          
           Difficulties related to sudden traumas (car accidents, dog bites, etc.)

·         Non-medicinal approaches to the management of acute and chronic pain

·         Medical Hypnotherapy as a means of controlling pain

·         Pain management group therapy and education

·         Biofeedback 

·         Treatment of addictive disorders both prescription and illicit

·         Weight reduction-9 week program in English and Spanish

·         Sleep disorders

·         Pre-surgical assessments and preparation

·         Crisis intervention, PTSD and suicide intervention

·         Publication and distribution of a box set of CD's, specific to the needs of injured
          workers, using hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques to control pain and 
          sleep disorders in English and Spanish.

They have been working the specialty of behavioral pain management since 1995 and have been licensed in the State of California since 1979 and 1983, respectively. This is a full time specialty and they are well established in the medical, personal injury, and Workers' Compensation communities.  You will also find them on most of the major MPN listings.
